Discuss some reasons why a client may feel pain or tenderness during a reflexology session

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: A perfectly healthy person will not feel pain or tenderness during a reflexology session. These are signs of an imbalance within the body that may be caused by illness or disease, generalized tension and stress, fatigue, overuse of the feet, toxicity, prescription and nonprescription medications, lymphatic or fluid congestion in the feet or specific part of the body, surgeries, injuries, soft tissue strain, bruises, ill-fitting shoes, bunions, bone spurs, corns, thin skin, and low pain tolerance.
