What will be an ideal response?
1) Evaluate my interview performance. Ask myself if I'm pleased with how well I presented myself in the interview? What did I do well? What could I have done better?
2) Consider if I still want the position. Determine if what I learned about the job in the interview is still what I'm looking for. If not, withdraw my application.
3) Write a thank-you note. Send a thank-you note to the individuals who interviewed me, showing my appreciation for taking time out of their busy schedules to meet with me.
4) Follow up with the employer. If I haven't heard from them in a few weeks and it's past the point when they said they'd contact me, I'll e-mail or call them to find out a status. I just want to remind them that I'm still interested in the position.
