Describe the work culture for workers who remain in the same place for their entire work lives. How does this compare to workers who move from workplace to workplace?
What will be an ideal response?
Workers who do not move but spend their work lives in one place may develop a more idiosyncratic work culture, peculiar to that place and its local problems. Workers who change jobs often and move from workplace to workplace often carry what they have learned elsewhere withthem. That makes it easy for them to refine and update their solutions frequently, andthus to develop and maintain an occupational culture.
