Examine the population density patterns.

What will be an ideal response?

Bangladesh sits at the heart of the confluence of the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers, thus providing the region with excellent agricultural soils and ample water for irrigation. This enables Bangladesh to have one of the highest population densities in the region. Central India has not major river running through it and is thus dependent upon monsoonal rains which are seasonal, and thus has a lower population density.
