What will be an ideal response?
Varies. Students may choose to discuss the concepts of homophobia and heteronormativity. Heteronormativity is assumed in our society. We have become socialized to think everyone we meet identifies as straight until we are informed otherwise. Considering this, straight people don't need to come out because we are surrounded with the misconception that people are born heterosexual.
