Once either Patrick or Tameka enters the Agitation Phase, what would you recommend that Ms. Rollison do? If she doesn’t recognize the Agitation Phase, what would you recommend differently for the Acceleration Phase?
What will be an ideal response?
I would suggest that Ms. Rollison gives the students a prompt or re-direct or gives them a different task. Give them some time and later she can go back and check to see where they are at with their task.
I think that Ms. Rollison could also talk to both Tameka and Patrick privately and get it from them. Give them the opportunity to tell Ms. Rollison that if they are struggling and ask them what would help them to pay more attention or complete their work.
