Briefly describe the difference between how a generator and a motor work.

What will be an ideal response?

In a generator, a wire loop must be moved through a magnetic field to produce a current in that loop. In a motor, however, a current must be passed through a wire loop to produce movement of that loop. This movement is called the motor principle. When the wire loop turns, it produces torque, or a turning force.
