Does SNMP define a name for each possible MIB variable? Explain.

What will be an ideal response?

Each object to which SNMP has access must be defined and given a unique name. Collectively, the set
of all objects SNMP can access is known as a Management Information Base (MIB). The SNMP standard
only specifies the message format and describes how messages are encoded. A separate standard
specifies MIB variables along with the meaning of fetch and store operations on each variable.
Separate standards documents specify MIB variables for each type of device.
