What are the effects of the secretions of the suprarenal medulla on the body?

What will be an ideal response?

The suprarenal medulla has two cell populations, one secreting epinephrine and the other norepinephrine. These catecholamines trigger utilization of energy and the mobilization of reserves to increase muscular strength and endurance. These effects are at their peak 30 seconds after suprarenal stimulation and they linger for several minutes thereafter, making these the longest lasting sympathetic effects in the body.
