Describe how to map a network drive.
What will be an ideal response?
If you have a connection to a network (dial-up PPP or network interface card), you can use Explorer to map a network drive to your machine. On a Windows 9x computer, this is done by selecting Map Network Drive on the Tools menu. The computer automatically picks the first free drive letter (you can pick a different one) and requires a path to the network drive. The general format is \\machinename\username. Access to the network drive may require a password.
