There is no irrefutable evidence of global warming
What will be an ideal response?
In the sense of proof—impossible in science—this statement is true. In the same
sense, there is no irrefutable evidence that if I drop something it will fall toward Earth's
surface. In both cases, science has tested the ideas involved and eliminated the ones that
cannot possibly be correct. What is left is accepted until such time as it is disproved. The
scientific analysis suggests a very high probability that the warming we are experiencing is
due to human actions, specifically burning fossil fuel.
