Automatically rebilling all unpaid claims has the potential for double?billing, paid and rebilled claims crossing, and duplicate EOBs (or RAs), all of which contribute to lost time and effort in reanalyzing these documents and the account status. Efforts should be directed to tracing and rebilling claims that were in fact not received, are truly lost, or require additional documentation.
