Explain Conville's model of relationship development and dissolution

What will be an ideal response?

Conville's structuralhelical model does not move through stages as Knapp's model
does, but rather suggests that relationship development is irreversible. Conville argues that
dyads can never return to a previous stage because they can never return to that same context
and point in time. This model focuses on the dynamic nature of communication and the
influence time and communication experiences have on a dyad. This model is more like a spiral
path with a continuous flow of varying communication experiences.
