How should a parent manage a food jag?

What will be an ideal response?

A child who refuses to eat a specific food, will likely emerge from the phase within a few days or weeks. If the food jag persists beyond a few weeks, the parent and caregiver can keep a food diary of everything the child eats and drinks for a few days. Then the concerns and the food diary need to be shared with the child's health care provider or a registered dietitian nutritionist for intervention.
