Terrorism has evolved and along with it legislation to control and respond to terrorist and criminal offences. The UK adapted legislation aimed specifically at Irish terror. How effective has that legislation been in light of the present-day problems of home-grown terrorism? How does the PATRIOT Act tackle home grown terror?
