(Note- this is a personal response) I decided to attend college because my parents encouraged me to do so. It was something that was valued in my family. I was fine with attending college and when I started receiving good grades, I was motivated to continue. Social theory is responsible for me attending college and behavioral theory played a role in my continuing in college.
