How does poverty impact children and minority groups?

What will be an ideal response?

Children are the most likely of any group to be living in poverty. About 19% of children live in poverty. This is especially problematic because poverty during early childhood may have a more severe impact on behavior than poverty during adulthood. Minorities are especially burdened with poverty. Blacks have the lowest household income, followed by Hispanics, Whites, and Asians. The unemployment rate for blacks is also higher than it is for whites.
