Compare the theoretical view of the consensus model of the criminal justice system to the conflict model.

What will be an ideal response?

Answer should indicate that the consensus model views that everyone in the criminal justice system works together to achieve justice, based upon the notion that there is a general agreement about what behaviors are criminal. The conflict model views society as a power struggle. Those with power define what is criminal in order to maintain their dominance. Components of the criminal justice system work in competition to produce justice.
