than designed to work. (11) Hold every power tool firmly and in control at all times. (12) In school,
always obtain the instructor's permission before using a power tool. (13) If there is any question about
the condition of a power tool, check with the instructor before proceeding. (14) Announce to others
around you when you are ready to start a power tool. (15) Lay the power tool down safely so that it
will not damage cutting parts or injure others. (16) Report any faulty condition of the power tool and
its cutting parts to the instructor as soon as it is noticed.
