What will be an ideal response?
Rating scales--essentially fixed alternative questions where we ask the respondent to indicate magnitude on a scale. Likert-type scales--a response scale ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree; often used in attitude surveys. Semantic differential--measures all the meanings associated with a word that are not, by definition, part of the word.
