How can one avoid making a cutting mistake?
What will be an ideal response?
To avoid making a cutting mistake, always identify whether lines are being used for cutting, for locating bends, as drill centers, or as assembly locations. The lines not to be cut may be marked with an X, or they may be identified by writing directly on the part. Mark the side of the line that is scrap so that when the kerf is removed from that side the part will be the proper size. Any lines that have been used for constructing the actual layout line or to locate points for drilling or are made in error must be erased completely or clearly marked to avoid confusion during cutting and assembly.
