The student should be able to provide a well-rounded and nonbiased explanation of
the uses of technology and its proper and improper places in the world today. While it may
be necessary to keep in touch while in a trial or at an off-site interview, it is not appropriate
to ignore the client you have in front of you. Also, it may be tempting to use jargon or slang
when using a PDA or cell phone—however, this is still a reflection of the firm and of the
paralegal and should be avoided.
