Assume a client, a nurse, just learned she lost her job while she was out on maternity leave. The client had worked for a hospital, which has over 800 full-time employees. The client/nurse had worked at the hospital for five years. What remedies might she have?

What will be an ideal response?

Nurse should be covered under Family and Medical Leave Act because she has worked there long enough to be covered and the employer has more than enough employees to meet for application of act. Also, Title VII prohibits discrimination based on sex/being female/getting pregnant. Nurse should be successful in getting job back.
