What are some of the different respiratory systems seen in animals?

What will be an ideal response?

Some organisms in aquatic or very moist habitats, and with large surface-to-volume ratios, use their skin as their respiratory surface. Other aquatic organisms use gills as the primary means of gas exchange. Land-based animals usually use some form of a lung to exchange gases, although insects use a spiracle trachea system instead.
