Explain the difference between the crude birth rate and the fertility rate

What will be an ideal response?

The crude birth rate is calculated by taking the number of births, dividing by the population, and multiplying by one thousand. Because it uses the entire population is does not take into account that some women are the most likely to give birth. The fertility rate is calculated by dividing the number of births by the number of women of childbearing age, fifteen to forty-four, and multiplying by one thousand.
