What were the reasons for the failure of the Alexandrian Empire and the success of the Hellenistic world?
What will be an ideal response?
The primary failure of the Alexandrian Empire is due to Alexander's early death and lack of a successor. Subsequently, his rapidly accumulated territories were split among his three main generals, creating the Antigonid, Seleucid, and Ptolemaic kingdoms. Although there was not a successful continuation of the geopolitical empire that he built, the cultural legacy of a cosmopolitan worldview remained, becoming the basis of the Hellenistic world, with its integration of many cultures, identities, religions, etc.
