Give an example of circumstances in which the Good Faith Doctrine would apply

What will be an ideal response?

A police officer making a traffic stop is informed that the operator has an open warrant. The
officer arrests the subject on the warrant and, in a search subsequent to the arrest, finds drugs on
the subject. The subject is then charged with possession of a controlled substance. Upon arriving
at the station, it is revealed that the warrant has been recalled, but this information was not
known by the officer at the time of the arrest and subsequent search. The evidence obtained
would remain good based on the good faith of the officer at the time of the event that the warrant
was valid.
