On the options bar, select a brush size that is slightly larger than the area you would like to alter, select a blending mode, select a type, and check the Sample All Layers check box. Confirm that the empty layer is the active layer. Place the brush over the area of the image you would like to heal, and press the Enter key. Save your adjusted image.
