Why is it not a good idea to stuff a persuasive presentation full of data visuals?

What will be an ideal response?

Some presenters think that if they can show enough data, the audience will be persuaded. The result is that instead of having two clear, easy-to-understand visuals, the audience has to sit through ten. This data-driven approach is not terribly persuasive—instead of getting them fired up over your proposal, it may, in fact, bore your audience to tears. Instead of weighing them down with data, tell stories and give examples. Use pictures to help them understand your approach to the situation. They will remember your stories much longer than they will the numbers and statistics.
