Explain the process involved in the USDA certifying a product as organic

What will be an ideal response?

For agricultural products to be certified as organic by the USDA, first certifying agents will review the application from the farmer or processor for certification eligibility, and then qualified inspectors conduct annual onsite inspections of the operation. If the farmer or processor meets the minimum eligibility standards, they can receive the USDA "certified organic" certification.
