How does a condensing boiler differ from other boilers and why are they used considering that they generally cost more?
What will be an ideal response?
The condensing boiler has extra heat exchanger capacity in the flue that
captures usable heat to the point where water condenses out of the flue gas. The
flue gas is cooled to a lower temperature than in conventional boilers which
considerably raises the efficiency of the boiler.
