(5) Make sure the patient understands what is causing the condition. (6) Convey confidence about the physical therapy procedure to the patient. (7) Explain the objectives of the physical therapy to the patient. (8) Point out improvements the patient can watch for as he goes through the physical therapy sessions. (9) Suggest and/or organize group activities for the patients. (10) Always provide the patient with clear and simple directions about the physical therapy exercises.
