Which oscillator has a bigger issue with accuracy and stability, the Colpitts or the Hartley? Why?
What will be an ideal response?
The frequency accuracy and stability is a bigger issue with the Colpitts than the Hartley because the Colpitts has two capacitors in its tank circuit. Also, the leads between the capacitors and coils and other parts of the feedback circuit have their own capacitance, which affect the overall frequency of oscillation.
