Why should the estimator review the plumbing portions of the project whether it involves single or separate contracts?
What will be an ideal response?
The plumbing portion of the contract documents should be reviewed by the general contractor’s estimator to determine if there are any obvious errors, overlaps of work or missing information. The estimator will want to be certain of who is responsible for many of the coordination aspects of the job, such as trenching, backfilling and the like.
