What will be an ideal response?

Essay should include:

Suicides tend to be associated with feelings of depression and hopelessness. Some suicidal individuals experience hopelessness and depression when they set impossibly high standards for themselves and/or compare themselves negatively to others. Suicide attempts are more common after experiencing stressful life events, such as exit events, in which an important support relationship is lost. Another risk factor for suicide is lack of problem solving ability. Those contemplating suicide tend to be less able to find ways to effectively manage stressful situations. Finally, there is a tendency for suicide to run in families. The details of this association, however, are unclear. The signs of suicide mirror those of depression (difficulty concentrating, changes in eating and sleeping patterns, loss of interest in activities), but they also include talking or writing about death and dying, giving away prized possessions, the occurrence of an exit event, threatening to commit suicide, and for adolescents, hearing about the suicide of another teenager.
