One of your friends has several brothers and sisters, each quite different in appearance, interests, and abilities, even though all have the same parents. Explain in detail how these siblings reflect crossing over and independent assortment.

What will be an ideal response?

Siblings may receive different genes from the same parents based upon crossing over. However given enough children, probability indicates that the red head phenotype will be expressed eventually.
