Describe how insulin therapy works for diabetics

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: All people with type 1 diabetes, and many with type 2, need insulin daily to survive. Delivery methods differ and consist of injecting their insulin using a needle and syringe, or using an insulin pen. Others use a pump on the outside of their body connected to a catheter. Some devices deliver the insulin through absorption from a "pod" attached to the skin with adhesive.
