Compare aptitude tests and achievement tests.

What will be an ideal response?

An aptitude test is designed to predict a student's ability to learn a skill or accomplish something with further education and training. Aptitude tests include general mental ability tests such as intelligence tests. An achievement test is intended to measure what the student has learned or what skills the student has mastered. However, the distinction between aptitude and achievement tests is sometimes blurred. Both types of tests assess a student's current status, the questions they use are often quite similar, and usually, the results of the two kinds of tests are highly correlated.
