Describe the longest longitudinal study ever conducted

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Psychologist Lewis Terman collected extensive data on about 1,500 California children, asking their parents and teachers long lists of questions about their habits, personalities, and behaviors. Terman surveyed them every few years, asking about their personalities and documenting their lives as they grew into adults. After Terman's death in 1956, other researchers continued the project until it became the longest-running longitudinal study ever conducted.
