What is meant by combined forced and free convection?
What will be an ideal response?
Combined convection is the more general model of convection, recognizing that
in all instances both forced and free convection occur, although one most often
dominates and then the other is ignored in an analysis. If the Grashof number
and the Reynolds number squared are about the same magnitude, then
combined convection must be considered.
