Why is enriched flour is less nutritious than whole wheat flour?

What will be an ideal response?

Enriched flour has had the outer layers removed and is therefore missing the following ingredients: bran, phytochemicals, calcium, vitamin E, heart-healthy fats, and antioxidants. Whole wheat flour contains all those ingredients. The only missing nutrient in whole wheat four is folic acid, and this makes it more nutritious than enriched flour.
