What will be an ideal response?

(1) privacy, confidentiality, and anonymity-How can the study intrude on the people being studied? How will the researcher guard the information? discuss confidentiality measures with participants and group leaders; have participants review research products to see if their identities have been adequately protected. (2) Intervention and advocacy-What do I do when is see harmful, illegal, or wrongful behavior during the study? Should I speak for other interests besides my own? suppress sensationalizing or atypical bad behavior from results. (3) Research integrity and quality-Is my research being conducted carefully and thoughtfully? avoid demeaning visuals in publication; adhere strictly to analytical methods. (4) Ownership of data and conclusions-Who owns my field notes and analysis? Who controls the dissemination of my reports? Work through issues with stakeholders as they arise; allow participants to get access of conclusions in advance; investigate informed consent protocol before publishing any form of results or material from research project. (5) Use and Misuse of Results-What if my data are used wrongly? Am I obligated to help my findings be used appropriately? Develop early in the project the actions that will encourage appropriate use of project results; predetermine what actions will be taken if data is misused.
