Why would few reptiles be found in the tundra?

What will be an ideal response?

Reptiles are cold-blooded and need a certain amount of sunlight and above-freezing temperatures to complete their life cycles. They also do not have much in the way of insulation on their bodies. The climatic features of the tundra, including freezing temperatures, dry winds, and frozen ponds and soils, are not conducive to the survival of most types of reptiles. It would also be a tough place to bury eggs.
