Briefly explain why achievement-oriented leadership seeks continuous improvement. Provide an example from your own life when you have seen the benefits of seeking for continuous improvement in an organization. What was the outcome of these efforts?

What will be an ideal response?

Achievement-orientation seeks for continuous improvement because these leaders continuously challenge their followers for greater/higher levels of success. The status quo is not an option. Once one set of goals has been met, new goals/more challenging goals are set to keep the organization moving forward.
Examples will depend on the student’s experience.
The outcome should increase development of the organization, new products/markets or marketshare, more satisfied employees, less turnover, a good reputation as an organization, and the desire of highly motivated people to be part of that organization.
