Transnational crime, which involves unlawful activity that is undertaken and supported by organized criminal groups across national boundaries, is one of the major challenges today. The growing globalization of crime has made it essential for American law enforcement activities to expand beyond national borders and to coordinate with law enforcement agencies in different parts of the world
