The next set of readings deals with generational matters, that is to say with age stratified

concerns. The last set concerned the dynamics of gender relationships in marriage and
family.

Discuss how age stratification and gender roles are not mutually exclusive, but
interact at once in many situations. Think of how there are different social rules and legal
applications for teen mother and mother, teen father and father, mother and
grandmother. Discuss and give other examples.
What will be an ideal response?
