Compare and contrast the 4 teacher relationships as discussed in the text

What will be an ideal response?

All four of the teacher-with-teacher relationships discussed in the text – parallel play, adversarial, congenial, collegial – involve teacher interactions, or the lack of them. Parallel play indicates teachers may be in side-by-side classrooms and never share what they do or how they do it. Adversarial relationships are those that are hostile, either in subtle or overt ways. This is never healthy. Congenial relationships are pleasant and harmless, with frequent smiles and greetings. Collegial relationships exist among teachers who share what works in their classrooms, are eager to help one another, volunteer to observe and give advice, and are genuinely pleased when others experience success.
