How is listening an ethical issue?

What will be an ideal response?


Who we choose, or choose not, to listen to can involve taking a moral stand on an issue. Also, with mediated communication, the private information we listen to and pass to others has ethical implications about privacy expectations. We can also cut ourselves off from others, from ideas, and from communities by selecting what to listen to.
