Describe convective lifting

What will be an ideal response?

Convective lifting occurs when unequal heating of Earth's surface causes some pockets of air to be warmed more than the surrounding air. This warmed air is less dense than the surrounding air, causing it to rise. When the rising parcels of air rise above the condensation level, clouds form and can produce rain showers.
