What is the type of consent a patient gives after being told of the nature and purpose of treatment procedures, the benefits, and the risks?

What will be an ideal response?

Informed consent. It is the responsibility of the dentist to explain the nature and purpose of all proposed procedures, the benefits and the risks, the risk of refusing radiographs, and the role of the person performing the procedure. The dentist must accomplish this in lay terms and answer all questions before seeking informed consent from the patient.
